We like to keep our project process as simple as possible: 

• Initial Consultation
  Our project process starts with an initial, free, consultation.  During this time, we'll get an overview of your software requirements and establish the timescales and budget you have available for your project.  The consultation can be done in person or over the phone.  After this consultation, we'll put together a quotation document that will describe your project and propose our solution, giving an estimate of the time required to deliver it and the costs involved.
• Analysis
  Once we have agreed in principle to go-ahead with the project, we'll meet with you to do further analysis of your project.  After this analysis is complete, we'll issue you with an updated quotation with a more detailed analysis of the problem and a simple project plan describing the timescales and milestones involved in implementing the solution.  If the project is well defined in scope, we'll give you a fixed price for completing the work.  If the project is likely to be ongoing, we'll tell you our daily rate for development and consultancy services.
• Development
  After the analysis document is agreed and signed-off, we'll begin development.  Early in the development process, we'll show you a 'prototype' of what you solution will look like.  If further analysis is required due to a change in the requirements, we'll do further analysis at this point.  Working from the prototype, we'll complete the development on your software.
• Testing
  During the development process, our developers are continually testing their code to ensure that it works as it should.  Once the development is complete, we'll deliver the product to you for your internal testing.  If any issues arise during this period, we fix them and deliver a new version of the product to you.
• Delivery
  Finally, once the development and testing is complete, we'll deliver the final application to you.  You will be trained to use the new application and given a 'user's guide' document to accompany the training.
